Five toy dinosaurs arranged underneath a small plastic palm tree. Text overlay: Unearth a Story (dinosaurs...and more!)

Results are in after state reps cast their votes at the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) annual meeting on September 14!  The winning slogan to accompany the Summer Reading dinosaur theme in 2026 will be “Unearth a Story.”

This slogan will work well for all age groups who participate in Summer Reading, including adults, and should lend itself to history programming surrounding the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The winning vote-getter for Summer Reading in 2027 was a mystery/suspense/detective theme.

Thanks to all library staff who submitted survey responses and also participated in CSLP listening sessions to provide feedback.
