The New York State Broadband Assessment Program has launched the Internet Broadband Test and Consumer survey in order learn more about New Yorkers' broadband needs. All New York residents are encouraged to conduct a speed test or fill out the survey about their home-based internet access. This will allow the Broadband Assessment Program to gather complete data on real time internet speeds and access for all residents, allowing them to understand more about issues relating to broadband availability and adoption in your county and in New York.
